I truly enjoyed my stay, especially the wonderful breakfast and the pleasant views from the dining room, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring nearby attractions like the world of james herriot and the beautiful white horse of kilburn, both just a short drive away. while the room was spacious and had everything i needed, a little refresh would make it even better for future visits.

While the room had many appealing features, the overall decor and certain amenities were starting to show signs of wear, slightly diminishing the luxurious feel. the service during breakfast was a bit slow, with some tea and toast requests taking longer than expected, which could be frustrating if you’re in a hurry. It was also puzzling that the kitchen ran out of orange juice, a basic offering that one would expect at a place like this. Lastly, some minor maintenance issues, like cobwebs and curtain wear and tear, hinted that the cleaning staff might need a bit more direction in keeping everything shipshape.
